What is set on this site
This website sets a small number of cookies. Most come from Google Analytics. On our web design landing page (lumusagency.net/websites) the Meta Pixel can also set cookies, which we use to measure our adverts. Neither loads until you choose Accept.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Expires |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes one visitor from another | 2 years |
_ga_V314F6G5YY | Google Analytics | Keeps the session state for this property | 2 years |
_fbp | Meta Pixel | Lets Meta recognise a browser across visits, to measure advertising | 3 months |
_fbc | Meta Pixel | Stores the advert click that brought you to the page | 3 months |
Browser storage
Separately from cookies, this site stores a small amount of information in your browser's local storage: your Analytics choice (see Consent, below), on the web design landing page your choice about Analytics and the Meta Pixel, and a single timestamp so that a message you have already seen is not shown to you again. Neither contains personal data, neither ever leaves your device, and clearing your browser data removes both.
Requests that are not cookies
Fonts, animation libraries and some photographs are loaded from other companies' servers. These do not set cookies on this site, but the request itself reveals your IP address to them. They are listed in the Privacy Policy.
Turning cookies off
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Google also publishes an opt-out add-on for Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking these cookies does not stop the website working. You can also manage the adverts you see in the settings of your Facebook or Instagram account.
Consent
A banner asks for your choice the first time you visit. Analytics does not load until you choose Accept, and it never loads at all if you choose Decline. Your choice is remembered in your browser (see Browser storage, above) so you are not asked again on later visits. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site and reloading the page.
On the web design landing page, a separate banner asks for your choice about both Analytics and the Meta Pixel. Neither loads until you choose Accept.
