Practical draft — not legal advice

This document was prepared as a working draft for a sole trader operating in Ireland. It describes what this website actually does, but it has not been reviewed by a solicitor. Have it checked before relying on it.

Who we are

What these terms are

These terms cover use of this website. The work we do for clients is governed by a separate written proposal or agreement, and where the two differ, that agreement takes precedence.

Using this site

You may read this site and get in touch. Please do not attempt to disrupt it, extract data from it automatically, or copy its content or design for use elsewhere without asking.

Our work shown here

The portfolio contains two different things and they are labelled:

Any performance figure shown for a client relates to that specific piece of work at that specific time. It is a record of what happened once. It is not a prediction, a benchmark or a promise of a similar outcome.

What we do not promise

We are engaged for professional work — design, build, content and campaign management — and we do that work to a professional standard. We do not guarantee sales, revenue, follower growth, search rankings or advertising performance, as those depend on factors outside our control.

Quotes, payment and scope

Prices are quoted per project or per month in writing before work starts. Unless the written agreement says otherwise:

Lumus is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged on our invoices.

Third-party links

Where we link to another website, we are not responsible for its content or its handling of your data.

Liability

This website is provided as it is. To the extent Irish law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction.
